Graco E-Flo - Precision Fluid Management
The E-Flo iQ is a versatile and efficient Tank/Drum/Pail-to-tip solution for intelligent metering. Its electric servo-driven motor enables direct metering from the drum, eliminating the need for external dosing systems. The motor’s ability to track the position of the piston pump ensures consistent control of the flow rate, resulting in accurate dispenses throughout the bead.
To accommodate different applications, the E-Flo iQ offers a range of dispense valves suitable for both non-heated and heated applications. These valves can handle temperatures up to 158°F (70°C). For low flow applications, options like tip seal, ball/seat, or snuff back versions are available, while the Axial Valve is designed for high flow applications, such as window urethane dispense.
By metering directly from the drum and minimizing the number of system components, the E-Flo iQ reduces maintenance requirements. It utilizes durable and high-quality components, resulting in low maintenance needs over time.
Furthermore, the system’s simplified setup and minimal hardware requirements eliminate the need for expensive robots with heavy payloads. This makes the E-Flo iQ a cost-effective solution for pumping, metering, and dispensing single-component adhesives. Setting up and programming the E-Flo iQ is user-friendly with the Advanced Display Module (ADM), Graco’s HMI. Users can easily configure the bead profile and save up to 16 different dispense styles. The system provides diagnostic screens to monitor process variables and offers predictive maintenance parameters for proactive maintenance.
The Communication Gateway Module (CGM) allows seamless integration with PLC systems through various protocols such as Discrete I/O, EtherNet/IP, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, or DeviceNet, enabling comprehensive system control and data exchange.
